PLAÇA CATALUNYA

Plaza de Catalunya is the biggest of the squares of Barcelona. It has an area of 5 acres. From here important avenues of the city start, as the Rambla, Paseo de Gracia, rambla de Catalunya, las rondas de Universidat and carrer Pelai. The square is also notable for the numerous sculptures by major artists set out along its perimeter. The square is an importan transportation hub of Barcelona, both above and below surface Negreta METRO The square is crossed by the metro lines L1, L3.
