Last 20th April, FC Barcelona lost the Champions League match versus “Internazionale di Milán”. The matchstarted with a goal by Pedro at minute 19. At minute 29, Sneijder scored a goal. The first half finished with draw but Barcelona was dominating the match. The second half started and at the minute 29 Miacon scored a goal, 2-1 and the problems for Barcelona started. The goal should be anulated because before it there was a fault. At minute 60 Diego Milito(Gabriel Milito’s brother) scored an ilegal goal, he was out of side. The match finished with 3-1 for Inter, and the Barça’s players were angry with the referee. Today, 28th April, is the second match, and the supporters of Barcelona hope to pass to the final, in Madrid. Raúl and Axel.

Today 28/04/10 is a very important day for all the FCBarcelona fans today will decide who will go to the final to win the champions that takes place at Santiago Bernabeu(Madrid) stadium of Real Madrid. Barça is the only ''spanish'' team that this year almost reaches the final there fore Real Madrid got eliminated by Olympic de Lyon, Sevilla by CSKA of Moscow, and Atletico de Madrid in the mini league. Real Madrid fans don't want to see Barça wining the Champions league in his stadium because it's his greatest rival in the BBVA league I as catalan and culé want and desire that FCBarcelona wins What do you think,they will win or not?

The eruption of the volcano in Iceland has created a cloud that disrupted air traffic in several European countries. Ash is a flight risk because it contains particles of rock, glass and sand that may affect the turbines and can stop the engines of the aircraft. England has been one of the most affected countries, due to the proximity to the volcano. The consequence at European level has been the cancelation of different flights with thousands of people affected. Now we can’t specify the extension of this natural phenomenon, we are just waiting for its evolution.

Saint George's day

In Catalonia, Saint George’s day is celebrated on 23rd of April “The death of Miguel de Cervantes and Shakespeare ” that is the day when the men give a rose to a women and the women give a book to a men, but now the tradition can be backward. In IES Sant Andreu we celebrate Saint George's Day in the auditorium with all the students and teachers of the high school. There are theatres, choirs, concerts and awards for; photography, math, Spanish, Catalan and English literature. In the playground also somebody made sports (football, basketball ...). At the entrance of the high school was a exchange place of books and there was another table where we could take an ilex to be planted in Collserola natural park. The result of this event, has been very interesting and we received a lot of participation from students and teachers.

Easter in Spain

Easter in Spain consists of a holidays along a week and a day,during which we commemorate the death and resurrection of Jesus.

On those festivities:

The first day,Palm Sunday: We commemorate the day when Jesus arrives in Jerusalem.In Spain most of Christian children buy palms te be blessed.

Second day,Easter Thursday: We commemorate the last dinner that Jesus had with his disciples

Thrid day, Easter Friday: We commemorate the passion and death of Jesus

Fourth day,Saturday: The nigth between Saturday and Sunday we commemorate the resurrection of Jesus.

Fifth day, Monday. On the next Monday the godfathers give to their godsons "La Mona"(an Easter cake) to celebrate the day
