Dear friends,
In Barcelona some of us also have pets at home. Some of them are quite original, as the one you see on this post. He is TANA, a ferret. He's very quiet and clean although its smell can be a little bit ofensive for some people. I used to have another one, TOBY, but he died last year and the whole family were really sad.
Does anybody else have a ferret at home?

Pilar, as you know, I do not have a ferret but the one in the picture seems really friendly. I know she (I think) really is. Pity she no longer has ferret company... but she has a loving family, doesn't she?
It's a HE, although the name may seem feminine. TANA is the short name for TRAMUNTANA, the name of one of the winds we have in Catalonia.
I am really sorry for calling HIM a she. Tell HIM, he is a really handsome guy:-)
It's OK. By the way, would you admit a Spanish teacher to one of those "lessons" in the snow?
Pilar, I didn't expect you would try to ruin my "speech-torture-plan" and offer to join the lessons in the snow, though it might be fun. Ok, let me think it over.
He's a really nice animal.
I guess I will have to write about my Spirit in the nearest future...
I really like the animals, but the ferrets don't like much, but I admit Tana is very beautiful.

Maggie,
