Hi everyone!

Firstly I want to introduce myself. So My name is Milena. I'm 16 and I'm also from Olsztyn. And few words about my hobbys. So as majority of you I like music, shopping and meeting friends, but I think as minority of you I like a theatre, I mean acting there, but also watching some plays. One year ago I was a member of a teenage amateur dramatics, but unfortunately I don't do it any more in the absence of time. But because of my interest I want to show you my favourite place in Olsztyn. And it's of course theatre, exactly Puppet Theatre. This is a place, where these some kind of classes took place.

PUPPET THEATRE

This theatre, which is (I don't know why) treated as a theatre for children, put on plays for people of every age. I have to say that it is rather small building which is housed in Kołobrzeska street. But maybe that's why it has its own and unique climate.

This theatre has two stages (big and small one). But what I love in this place most are mysterious basement and actor's dressing room, which I could see because of being a member of a teenage amateur dramatics.

To sum up I think Olsztyn has many places where you can just relax for example we have 15 lakes in Olsztyn and about 8% of Olsztyn are forests. But everyone I think has his own magic place and for me it's just a theatre. I don't know why byt this place's scent and view just make me happy.

My favourite place in Olsztyn

My favourite place in Olsztyn is my grandma's summer house. This house is situated on the outskirts of the town, near river called Wadąg. It actually lies on the island. You can swim, fish, play football or volleyball on the beach fields and even cycle throught the alleys. It's just a great place. I really like to spend there my free time. When you are there, you loose the sense of time. It is a magic place. Maybe it's because of green plants, but air is also very soothing. In summer we make grill parties in garden. The whole family turn up and we're having a great time. We're talking about many topics and eating steaks and sausages. As you can see, I love eating fatty food. When the weather is good we play volleyball. That's favourite sport in my family, so we like playing it. We also play football and basketball at playground. Sometimes it is very funny. I'm trying to be there as long as I can, but at the end I must return to home. And that's my favourite place in Olsztyn.

The Reminiscence of The Dead Members of Church

On 2nd November we reminisce our relatives, who had left our world. We go to the cemetery and pray for them, but also we meet our further family and talk about those, who aren't with us. The Reminiscence of The Dead Members of Church is noticed as very sad celebrate, but in fact it's completely opposite - we remind ourselves the best things related to dead members of our family. We can even know something interesting about them. So please, don't be sad this day. Go to cemetery, light up the flame and pray. Enjoy your family reunion and don't forget about those, who had left this world.

SEAPORT

In the seaport in Barcelona, there are many types of ships, for example private ships or a public ships.

“Las Golondrinas” are pleasure boats used for trips around the port and along the coastline of Barcelona. This much-loved attraction goes back to 1888, when the first Universal Exhibition took place in Barcelona.

The typical wooden-hulled “Golondrinas” take visitors on trips around the port. On the other hand, the catamaran “Golondrinas” take trippers 18 miles along the coastline to the Fòrum Port in Sant Adrià de Besòs.

The sea harbour is a special place in Barcelona because is very beautiful and there are many places to visit, for example, the Maremagnum. Also, you can going walking around the seaport.

The port Vell is the oldest part of the big port in the city.

We like this place because we think that is a very interesting and also is very satisfactory meeting in this place and walking around it.

In the centre you can find an area for commercial use, as the Maremagnum.

Maremagnum is a famous shopping center. It is very big and there are many shops, restaurants and spaces for events and conventions in this center.

PARK GÜELL

Park Güell is a very important sight in Barcelona.

It is a big garden on the top part of Barcelona. Antonio Gaudí was the architect. He was born in Reus (25th June 1852) and he was died in Barcelona (10th June 1926), because he was run over by a tram.

He is the most famous architect in Barcelona because his buildings are very significant .

The park Güell was built between 1900 and 1914.

In the parc Güell we can find different parts, for example:

In the center there is a lizard. The decoration is formed by different mosaics.

There is a square and this square is formed by 86 columns another important part in the park are benches. These benches are very special because they have got the shape of a spiral or a snake.

It is special for us because we like seeing the mosaics and meeting friends there to take pictures.

My name is Paulina. I was born on 1.03.1993 r., so I'm 16. I live in Olsztyn. I really love animals. I have three cats, two dogs, a hamster and fish. I always feed and look after my pets. PLAÇA CATALUNYA

Plaza de Catalunya is the biggest of the squares of Barcelona. It has an area of 5 acres. From here important avenues of the city start, as the Rambla, Paseo de Gracia, rambla de Catalunya, las rondas de Universidat and carrer Pelai. The square is also notable for the numerous sculptures by major artists set out along its perimeter. The square is an importan transportation hub of Barcelona, both above and below surface METRO The square is crossed by the metro lines L1, L3. It is also served by two lines of railway Catalunya (L1, L3, L6, L7) Passeig de Gracia (L2, L3, L4). BUS It consists of different bus lines Nightbus It is the bus schedules at night

My name’s Agnieszka and I guess some of you may remember me as I took part in the last year’s exchange. I’m a 17-year-old student of the second class in the High School nr 4 in Olsztyn which is also my home town.
