On 19-23 April we organised "The Week for Hospice" in our school. The aim of the undertaking was to raise money for fulfilling the dreams of children from the hospice in Olsztyn.
The very beginning of thid event was planting the bulbs of daffodils on our friend's allotment where they peacefully spent the winter. As soon as spring came, they were ready to be picked up and "The Week for Hospice" to start.
On Wednesday 21st April the students of our school were given the golden opportunity to get acquainted with the idea of hospice by participation in the meeting organised by the institution. After that, with the car full of gardening equipment, food and warm clothes we started our journey to the allotment. After 7 hours of hard and exhausting work interrupted by explosions of laughter and sausages' eating we managed to pick up and decorate all the flowers.
The following day, all the daffodils were successfully sold to the students (who were wearing mainly yellow and green clothes) and teachers of our school. As a result we raised around 800 zł and our school again helped people in need.

No wonder you had a good time. I can imagine the sausage eating as well. It rings a bell. We had a very nice time at a farm in Poland with a fantastic tradicional meal.
