CAROLLERS 2009
A mathematician as a shepherd, English teachers as Joseph and Mary, a French teacher as a devil, Polish teachers as angels and a priest as a king - this is Christmas in our school.
This year, as usual, our teachers left their normal faces at home and arrived at school disguised as carollers and thus providing us, the students, with plenty of extremely positive energy for the forthcoming Christmas and, what's the most important, helping the former student of our school who suffered from an accident.
The performance turned out to be a total success. The teachers again showed their hidden talents in excellent acting and impressing singing. This, together with state-of-the-art outfits caused us incredible laughter and brought forward the fabulous atmosphere of Christmas time.
We have to admit that we are in awe of the way our teachers handled their really difficult task and we appreciate their involvement and dedication.
Thanks to them, we raised over 7000 zł (about 1700 euro) which will certainly help our friend.
And now we're only looking forward to next year performance which will certainly keep us at the edge of our seats.
Finally, we would like to wish you all Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

" The four seasons: Winter(2) "
The Christmas day is an International religious celebration. As everywhere, we celebrate it on 25th of December, for Jesus birth. In the morning we open the presents and later we meet the family for lunch. We cook stuffed chicken, soup, crumbs…according to taste. We think that it’s a special day to spend with the family.

Emilia's profile
Hi, I'm very pleased that I finally joined this blog and have an opportunity to meet all of you.
My name's Emily and I'm head over heels in love with contemporary dance, but at the parties I prefer a "square dance". This one move (made only with arms) goes with every types of music, requires very little space and isn't as tiring as it looks like. And makes people believe that you're a dancing queen.
Late at night I'm a scribbler. I make up new words, because we don't have them enough. I'm keen on Eastern European culture and I listen to folk music.
I'm delighted I have just started making new friends ;]
(I look scared on the photo. That's because the walls were bringing closer, as they sometimes do)

My Pet
Last Saturday my dog joined my family. He is very little. He is a Yorkshire Mini. First day, he was very quiet and didn’t move, but the next day he played with me and my brother.
On Monday we went to the vet’s and the vet examined the dog. He was OK
If he does something well, we give him a prize.
His favourite toys are a little ball, a bone and his travell bag.
At night he cries on purpose because he listens when we move on the bed and he thinks that we are awake and he wants to play.

FC Barcelona- Real Madrid CF
Today I want to write about the match Barcelona-Madrid celebrated last 29th of November. In Spain the nickname of this match is “clásico”(“classical” in Spanish) and 1 million people watched it.
I’m a supporter of Barcelona and last Sunday I watched the match at home with my parents, my brother, my uncle and my cousin. Everybody in my family is a supporter of Barcelona but only my uncle, my cousin and I are the craziest supporters.

Cosculluela
Cosculluela is my favourite singer of rap and reggaeton.
Cosculluela was born and raised in Humacao (Puerto Rico).
Cosculluela began recording CDs with his brother Jaime and some friends.
His great inspiration was Mexicano 777, another famous singer.
Cosculluela made his first appearance in the CD The Bandoleros in 2005.
Then he started singing reggaeton.
He has rivalry with other singers as Ñengo flow, Gamsta, Temperamento and Arcangel.
Jose Cosculluela now says he’s preparing an important CD for his fans.
My holidays
Today I want to write about my summer holidays.
In summer holidays I go to Creixell. Creixell is a little and modern town in Tarragona. When I stay in Creixell, my favourite activities are going to the beach and pool with my friends or going to the lighthouse by bike and eating chocolate crêpes at Torredembarra Port. At night, I
like going to the park late with my friends. Creixell is the best place because I have so much.
This year is the first that I have gone to this apartment, because in June my parents sold an apartment in Torredembarra, the town next to Creixell. But now I have more friends, and I love them :).

Dawid's Profile
Hi, I want to introduce myself .My name is Dawid. I'm 16. In September I have started new school-high school number 4 in Olsztyn. My hobbies ? I like meeting with friends, listening to the music or watching films. I'm a ,,child’’ of volleyball but not only team volleyball either beach volleyball. I have trained team volleyball for seven years , but trust me, now it is not only a hobby, I really love it. After a first training I was sure that volleyball is something I could not exist without . In Poland volleyball is incredibly popular. This year polish national team won European Championships in Turkey.
Team volleyball is not as dynamic and powerful as beach volleyball.
Near my city every year is a great event- Beach Volleyball World Tour.
Small village in Stare Jabłonki for one week change for center of world volleyball. But competition is not as fantastic as a a
tmosphere. On little beach you can see and feel real beauty of the sport.
But don't trust me, come and see it.

" The four seasons: WINTER "
Celebrations
Stew, shortcake doughs, nougat, marzipan, crumbs, fish soup, stuffed chicken, smoked salmon, etc.
My favourite place in Barcelona
My favourite place in Barcelona is Camp Nou. Camp Nou is FCBarcelona’s stadium, and it is the biggest of Europe (98771 seats). The meaning of Camp Nou is “New Field”. The inauguration was on 24th September of 1957.
The first match in Camp Nou was FC Barcelona-Warsaw selection(4-2)(24th September of 1957).
In Camp Nou there has been major events, for exemple, in 1992, the Olympic Games, in 1999 the final of the champions...
In Camp Nou sometimes there are concerts
Bus: Line 7, 15, 43, 67, 68, 74, 75, L12, L50, L60 & L62
Metro: Line 3 (get out at “Maria Cristina” or “Les Corts”) & line 5 (get out at “Collblanc” or “Badal”).
In the first picture you can see the Camp Nou during an important match, and in the second picture you can see a mosaic made by the spectators, in the picture you can see “Més que un club” and the meaning is “More than a club”
Camp Nou is my favourite place in Barcelona for two reasons:
1. Because FCBarcelona is my favourite team
2. Because the atmosphear is amazing. We sing, dance, shout at the referee, and chant the names of the bests player in the world (Messi, Ibrahimovic, Henry, Iniesta, Xavi…)

My little place
The mural in Olsztyn
A few weeks ago, here in Olsztyn, happened something that we should be proud of. The first mural in our town is finally finished!
A mural is a piece of artwork painted on a wall, ceiling, or other large permanent surface.
This one in Olsztyn presents the most recognizable objects in our town, such as the townhall or the castle. I think it's a great way to promote the city. If more actions like that would start to happen, the town would become more attractive to visitors. Also young people would have a chance to prove their talents in public as Bartosz Świątecki and his crew did (they are authors of the mural).
Someone may disagree but I think it's a great piece of art!
I'm sure that murals are more popular in Barcelona or Istambul or other cities, but Olsztyn is not a very big and attractive one so things like that are quite unusual ;)
Here's a link to the artist's blog if you would like to see more of his works ;) --> click!
