Days of our life

During our life we have a lot of happy days. Actually every day should be lived good. We're meeting our friends via almost whole week. We can talk with them or play different types of games, for example football or volleyball. We spend our time nice with them and that's important. However, sometimes has become worse day. All, what we do, goes wrong. It's frustrating. We're trying to do our best, but we'll never do it right. It's some kind of curse I think. About a week ago I've had a bad day. I've got a fine for not-ticket ride by bus for the first time. When I came home, I've noticed that I left my keys in my friend's house and I had to go back. I've lost a lot of time, because he lives on the other side of town. When I finally got to home, I didn't feel good. After few days I've got ill. Have you ever had a really bad day or something like that?

Hi Everyone!

Hi! I have huge request to you. Every Sunday I prepare a dinner for my family (I've started last Sunday but still...). I try this dinner to be unique, oryginal and tasty of course. I'm interested in Arabic cuisine. Last time I made shoarma and this week I'm going to do something in that style. I'm really out off ideas. Would you mind sending me your favourite recipes? (Meaby some Turkish national dishes?) But remember I'm not an experienced cook!;]
Many thanks.

WINTER HOLIDAYS IN POLAND

Since winter holidays in Poland have finished recently, we'd like to present the most popular ways of spending this time in our country.

As probably all over the world the most frequently practiced winter activities are skiing and snowboarding. Not only is it possible for Polish people to do these sports in the mountains and thus taking advantage of professional ski-lifts and equipment as well as relishing the wonderful atmosphere of this place but also they can master their skills in these fields of life without leaving the area. The routes here are not so diversified and the ski-lifts not so modern, however people on the slopes seem to enjoy their time equally.

The next winter activity adored by crowds is ice-skating. Although it is not as extreme as the previous ones, it doesn't require so much practice and experience, the equipment is cheaper and ice-rinks more easily available.

Finally, the activities like sleighing or sleigh rides are also quite popular, especially among young children and although they are considered the source of entertainment rather than sports, we will also associate them with winter holidays.

And you, how do you spend your winter holidays?

TANA, my pet

Dear friends,

In Barcelona some of us also have pets at home. Some of them are quite original, as the one you see on this post. He is TANA, a ferret. He's very quiet and clean although its smell can be a little bit ofensive for some people. I used to have another one, TOBY, but he died last year and the whole family were really sad.

Does anybody else have a ferret at home?

Weekend

Last Saturday I went skiing with my brother, my brother’s girlfriend and her sister. My brother and I woke up at 5.30 am and we went to pick up his girlfriend and girlfriend’s sister. We took two hours to reach the mountain, and the temperature was -15ºC. We went to the ski resort “La Molina” and the snow was fantastic!

It was the first time that I went skiing, and I fell a lot at the beginning but not at the end. At 5 pm we were very tired and we went back home.

The Carnival !

Carnival in the school

Last Friday we celebrated the carnival in the school. We organized different activities like football, basket, cinema, strategy games… and also had a contest for the people that wanted to wear fancy dresses where Irene and I participated! She wore a sun dress and I wore a moon dress. At the end, we won the third prize!

Carnival in the street

I also particiated in the street Carnival on Friday evening and on Saturday with my best friend, MªAngeles. On Friday we wore workers’ dresses but the people confused us with mechanics. We were very embarrassed because we were the only persons that wore fancy dresses in our group, but on Saturday it was different. MªAngeles and I changed our dressers for cooks’ disguisses! My friends wore footballers dresses, dead bodies… We had music, dance and a small spectacle in the street.

New Moon

The second movie of "Twilight" is very well known around the world, it has cautivated everyone. A few weeks ago they opened the second film called "New Moon", like the book. From my point of view as a fan I think that the movie was very well done, but I noticed that some things of the book that for us are important didn't appear. When we went to see it, it shocked us the effects of the wearwolfs, the decorations, and the hard work that the actors had done to look like the characters. We liked it a lot. Summary of the movie: Bella is a young girl that falls in love with a vampire named Edward. They have a long relationship of one year until Edward leaves her to not cause her any pain. Bella falls into a strong depression, and to cheer herself she goes to see her friend Jacob, and spends five months with him. He tells Edward that Bella has died because of him. Edward wanted to die at the hands of the Volturis. Irene García and Elisabet Rueda.
